Doolittle Senior Center to be renovated

The Doolittle Senior Center is scheduled to close for a 10-month renovation, starting Friday. All senior activities will be based out of the Doolittle Community Center at 1950 N. J St. during the renovation. Call 229-6125 to verify activities before attending.

HEALTH

Free screening offered at April 14 fair

Rainbow Medical Centers has scheduled its annual Spring Into Health & Safety Fair, April 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its Golden Triangle location at 1302 West Craig Road.

A carnival atmosphere will feature games, food, prizes and free health screenings for the family. Call 657-9555.

VOLUNTEER

Daily drivers needed to help seniors

James Seastrand Helping Hands of North Las Vegas, a senior nonprofit organization, is seeking volunteers to help with several duties, including driving seniors (60 and over) to medical appointments and the grocery store.

Helping Hands offers mileage reimbursement.
