The Las Vegas Showgirlz female football team is hosting open tryouts from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at Ed Fountain Park, 4499 Vegas Drive. Participants must arrive by 3:30 p.m. to register and must be at least 18 years old. Cost is $35. The football season begins Aug. 18.

Tuff-N-Uff to return to South Point
South Point Event Center, 9777 Las Vegas Blvd. South, will host the Tuff-N-Uff Brawl in the Barn mixed martial arts competition featuring male and female fighters on Saturday. Las Vegas local Ginele Marquez is on the card, which also includes a special four-man elimination tournament.

The Nevada Tennis Association will offer classes for juniors and adults. The classes start April 23, and are for entry-level to intermediate players ages 5 and up. The fee is $50 per person for a six-week session. Neon Invitational set for April 21 and 22
Youth from across the nation are invited to join young local athletes in the Las Vegas Neon Invitational outdoor track meet April 21 and 22 at a location to be determined. Boys and girls ages 5-18 may enter track and field events. Participants must be members of the Unites States of America Track & Field (USATF) or Wheelchair Sports USA.
