CHARITY

HELP needs assistance purchasing building

HELP of Southern Nevada is asking the community for assistance in raising $700,000 to help purchase an office building.

The organization has been given an opportunity to purchase its current office space and save approximately $7,000 per month. The savings could go toward preventing 120 households from becoming homeless, providing an extra 840 households with food assistance or enabling HELP to hire two case managers.

For every $100, a commemorative name place will be added to the new donor wall at various levels: $100-$499, bronze level; $500-$999, silver level; $1,000-$4,999, gold level; and $5,000-$9,999, platinum level.

Naming opportunities for department offices and rooms within the building are available for donations over $10,000.

For donations exceeding $100,000, recognition will be given on the outside of the building.

For more information, call 369-4357, Ext. 238.
