The Las Vegas Showgirlz female football team is hosting open tryouts from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at Ed Fountain Park, 4499 Vegas Drive.

The cost is $35 and the football season begins on Aug. 18.

The North American Sports Federation Spring Nationals will be held Saturday and Sunday in Las Vegas, featuring a four-game guarantee and a $10,000 award package for the winning adult softball team.

NTA to start classes for juniors and adults
The Nevada Tennis Association will start conducting classes for juniors and adults at various locations during the week of April 23.
The classes are for entry-level to intermediate players ages 5 and up. The fee is $50 per person for a six-week session.

Neon Invitational set for April 21 and 22
Youth from across the nation are invited to join local athletes in the Las Vegas Neon Invitational outdoor track meet on April 21 and 22 at a location to be determined.
Boys and girls ages 5-18 may enter track and field events. Participants must be members of the Unites States of America Track & Field or Wheelchair Sports USA.
