CANCELLED

Rescheduled Popovich shows called off

The Winchester Cultural Center has announced that the Popovich Pet Comedy Theater shows that had been rescheduled for Aug. 23 have now been cancelled.

Refunds are available from the center in the form of either a credit to use for another program or a check. For a refund, bring your tickets to the center, along with a receipt if one is available. For more information, call 455-7340.

EVENT

Concert series to continue Sunday

The World Vibration Concert Series will continue at the Winchester Cultural Center on Sunday at 2 p.m. with performances of Lebanese and Middle Eastern music.

Nabila Dance Company will perform the elements of rhythm, melody and instrumentation associated with the tradition. Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for children and seniors. The center is located at 3130 S. McLeod Drive. Call 455-7340.

Sign Design show coming to Winchester

The Sign Design Theatre will present "Sign Design Spectacular -- Celebrating 21 years of Quality Family Entertainment in Southern Nevada" at the Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive, Sept. 20-22.

Sign Design is a nonprofit children's group that teaches children American Sign Language through the performing arts.

Performances will be at 6:30 p.m., with doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and children. Children under 5 are free. Call 455-7340.

SENIORS

Group headed to Shakespearean Fest

The Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive, has scheduled an overnight trip on Oct. 11 and 12 for ages 50 and older to Cedar City for the Utah Shakespearean Festival.

The deadline for payment is Sept. 10. For details, call 455-7340.
