Former "American Idol" contestant Chris Daughtry's band Daughtry will perform at the Sand Bar at Red Rock Resort at 8 p.m. on Thursday.
Daughtry appeared on the fifth season of the reality show, and his band's self-titled album debuted in November 2006, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
The band's first single, "It's Not Over," went to No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The band since has released two more singles that have hit Billboard's Top 5, including "Home," which was played on "American Idol" each time a contestant was voted off the sixth season.
General admission tickets are $52.50, plus tax. This show is 21 and over only.

Seniors invited to hike Mount Charleston
Dula Gymnasium, 441 E. Bonanza Road, will sponsor the Seniors in Motion Long Hike to Mount Charleston for ages 50 and up from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
The cost for the trip is $2 and pre-registration is required.
Registration will be accepted until Tuesday, or until the trip is fully booked.
Seniors are asked to bring lunch and water with them. Transportation to Mount Charleston will be provided. To register, call 229-6307.
Take a 'Magic Carpet Ride' with Steppenwolf
John Kay and Steppenwolf will perform at 8 p.m. today at the Dallas Events Center at Texas Station.
Some of the band's hits include "Born to be Wild" and "Magic Carpet Ride."
Kay has been the band's frontman since the 1960s, and Steppenwolf plans to stop touring after 40 years. The Las Vegas stop will be one of their final performances.
This show is for all ages, but under 21 must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are priced from $19.95, plus tax.
