In the southwest, Forbuss Elementary School and Faiss Middle School offer students a new place to call home for the 2007-08 school year.

For students who have been shuffled around year after year, Forbuss Elementary may become a welcome respite. Students have been transitioned into four different elementary schools in the past four years, including Bryan, Tanaka, Wright and Rogers, while waiting for a school in their own neighborhood to open.
