CULTURAL DISTRICT presents a 'DECEMBER TO REMEMBER'

The Las Vegas Natural History Museum, 900 N. Las Vegas Blvd. North, will celebrate the holidays with a monthlong festival that highlights traditions from all over the world.

Workshops will highlight Mexican, Muslim and Jewish traditions, as well as ornament making and the tradition of craft giving.

Workshops will run each Saturday in December, with a special event Dec. 22 that will include special musical, dance and theatrical performances and holiday trees representing many cultures.

'DEFENDING THE CAVEMAN' STAR GIVES SPECIAL PERFORMANCE

Kevin Burke, the star of "Defending the Caveman," will celebrate his thousandth performance with a special show at 9 p.m. Dec. 20 inside the Showroom at the Golden Nugget. A reception will follow.
