* The National Park Service is leading a moderate 5-mile hike to the Bowl of Fire South at the Lake Mead National Recreation Area at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Visitors can see a variety of colorful sandstone and wildlife. Reservations are required. ICE SKATING
* Lace up your skates for a day of ice skating at Lake Las Vegas. The floating ice rink at MonteLago Village is open from 3 to 9 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and from noon to 9 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is $15 for adults and $12 for children 12 and younger.
