Musicians wanted
Chamber music festival coming to UNLV

Green Valley Chamber Music Festival founders Enrico Elisi and Shakeh Ghoukasian set out to create a student-oriented chamber music festival in the Las Vegas Valley a few years ago.

Last summer, Elisi and Ghoukasian held a festival at UNLV for about 35 students who play string instruments or piano.

At first glance, Ali Sabra does not look like much of a basketball player.

His youthful appearance, modest build and 5-foot, 10-inch frame are not characteristics that normally command respect on the court. But his energetic style of play more than makes up for any shortcomings.
