SPOTLIGHT ON: Hash House A Go Go
5900 W. Flamingo Road, 364-5300
In celebration of National Pancake Week, which runs through Saturday, Hash House A Go Go will donate 100 percent of all Chocolate Chip Wish Pancake sales ($7.95) and 50 percent of all regular pancake sales ($5.95 to $6.95) to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Nevada. Chef Anthony Vidal of Hash House A Go Go teamed up with four children served by Make-A-Wish to create the pancake special. After trying out candy, cereals and fruit, the children decided nothing was better than a chocolate chip pancake. The Chocolate Chip Wish Pancake will be available throughout breakfast and lunch from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.,today through Saturday. "We are hoping this can become an annual event and the community will come out and dine with us during National Pancake Week to support our cause and help Make-A-Wish here in Las Vegas," said Jim Rees, owner of Hash House A Go Go. In addition to farm-fresh breakfast favorites, Hash House A Go Go offers a full lunch and dinner menu. The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. It reopens for dinner at 5 p.m. and remains open Monday through Thursday until 9:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday until 10 p.m. Dinner is not available Sunday evenings.
