Choir has big plans
Sondheim nights and musical in works

For years, the Red Mountain Music Company has been known for its choir and its musical performances, but something new has been added to the group's repertoire this year.

For starters, the RMMC is offering the first in a series of monthly concerts known as Second Saturdays beginning this Saturday at the L.A. Water and Power Building.

Strong seniors and wrestling rookies could carry Eagles

The members of the Eagles wrestling team are out to surprise a number of their opponents this year. The Boulder City High School varsity team has a strong senior class with plenty of wrestling experience, including the 2005-2006 NIAA Class 3A Wrestling State Runner-up in his weight class, Adam Beach.

The greatest strength for the Eagles grapplers this season, though, is their 2006-2007 freshmen class. These high school wrestling rookies have both quantity and quality, and are challenging all the upper classmen for their starting positions on the varsity squad.
