Greg Korte, of Las Vegas, was honored with a Professional Progress Award by Kansas State University for professional career accomplishment during the first 20 years following graduation.
Korte, a 1987 graduate of the university, is president of the Las Vegas division of the Korte Company, a national general contracting firm specializing in design-build and construction management.
He is the 2006 president of the Las Vegas chapter of the Associated General Contractors, and was named president of the UNLV construction management program's Industry Advisory Board.
Patrick Byrne has been named to the Lawdragon 3000 Leading Lawyers in America list. Byrne is one of only 37 attorneys in Nevada named to the list.
He is an administrative partner at Snell & Wilmer, LLP, where he concentrates on commercial and business dispute resolution, with emphasis in contract and real estate title disputes, antitrust and business torts and legal malpractice defense.
