Although doors won't open at the Northwest Career and Technical Academy in Centennial Hills until August, the application deadline is less than a month away. Applications for all Clark County School District magnet schools must be U.S. postmarked or hand delivered by Feb. 16, for enrollment consideration in the 2007-2008 school year.

Students at the Northwest Career and Technical Academy, located at Durango Drive and Tropical Parkway, will take unique courses in one of the programs offered, including construction management, culinary arts, early childhood, engineering and design, hospitality, media communications, medical professions and transportation.
