EDUCATION

Exchange students need host families

The STS Foundation, a nonprofit student exchange organization, is looking for host families in the Henderson area to house high school exchange students for the 2007-08 school year.

The goal is to experience culture as an American high schooler does. In return, the exchange students will provide insight for peers into their own culture.

Host families provide a separate bed, family meals and a safe environment.

For more information, call Sean at (800) 522-4678, e-mail to seant@stsfoundation.org or visit www.stsfoundation.org.

Health District offers immunizations

The Southern Nevada Health District will provide back-to-school immunizations throughout the summer at the valley's four public health centers.

Children without immunization records will have to begin the immunization sequence from the beginning. Non-custodial adults may accompany the child, but written consent must be provided at the time of service.

There is an administrative fee of $16 per patient for one immunization or $20 per patient for two or more immunizations. Some vaccines require an additional fee.
