Issues Concerning Adolescents of Nevada will host a yard sale, 6-11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, at 6706 Paljay Court. All proceeds will benefit the organization's 2007 Leadership Camp, which will be held Aug. 12-16 in Lee Canyon.
ICAN is an organization that addresses the challenges facing today's youth. The group's annual Leadership Camp provides a curriculum, teaching smart life choices through leadership training.
The cost of the camp is $150, and the application deadline is July 30. Participants will check in at Cadwallader Middle School, 7775 Elkhorn Road, at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 12. Students will return to the school at 10:45 a.m. on Aug. 16. Call Jessica Kincaid at 413-8872 or e-mail to Jessica@icanlv.org.
