Special to ViewJewish War Veterans and Auxiliary Greenspun-Radin Post 21 presented a $100 savings bond to Katz Elementary School fifth-grader Sage Bates for her essay, which was based on the theme of what it means to be an American. The award is given out twice a year by Post 21 as a way to help instill patriotism in young students.
