SWIMMING

Academy holds signups for lessons

The Las Vegas Swim Academy is accepting registration for the last summer session of swim lessons. The lessons run from Monday through Aug. 16.

Registration for weekly lessons that begin on Aug. 28 also is being conducted. For more information or to register, call 360-2255.

TENNIS

Tournament to introduce new format

The Darling Tennis Center will be hosting a World Team Tennis tournament from Aug. 10-12 to help introduce the format to everyone in preparation for upcoming leagues.

The cost is $25 per team, and participants must be 18 years old. The registration deadline is Aug. 7. For more information, call Matt Boggess at 229-2100.

Darling Center to host kids' camps

The Nevada Tennis Association will offer its annual free summer tennis camps on Monday and Aug. 8 and 10 at All American Park and the Darling Tennis Center.
