Water District begins rehabilitation project
The Clark County Water Reclamation District has started sewer pipeline rehabilitation work on Harmon Avenue near UNLV. Crews are scheduled to work 24 hours a day. Sewer service will not be interrupted while the work is going on.
The district said motorists should expect that through at least July 28, two eastbound lanes of Harmon Avenue will be closed from Swenson Street to a private drive on the UNLV campus, near the tennis courts. Eastbound traffic will be diverted to one of the westbound lanes.
The district encourages drivers to take extra precautions and allow for more time when traveling through the area.
