MUSEUM & HISTORY FAIR
The Paseo Verde Library, 280 S. Green Valley Parkway, will host its first Museum & History Fair from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Several local museums and historical organizations will be featured, and several guest speakers are planned.

QUILT EXHIBIT
Quilts of all kinds will be on display at the Clark County Museum, 1830 S. Boulder Highway, from Saturday to Nov. 4. "Still Crazy: 125 Years of Quilts" will showcase the museum's collection of historic quilts.
The Clark County Museum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is $1.50 for adults, $1 for seniors and children.
'ICE: DIRECT FROM RUSSIA'
Clark County residents can get half-price tickets to "ICE: Direct From Russia," an ice-skating show at the Versailles Theatre at the Riviera.
Discounted tickets are available for 8 p.m. performances only, Saturday through Thursday through June 30.

Catch barrel racing at the South Point
The South Point will host The National Barrel Horse Association's second annual John Deere Vegas Super Show this weekend at the Equestrian Center.
Tickets are free. Shows run from 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. today, Saturday and Sunday.
The John Deere NBHA Vegas Super Show attracted more than 700 competitors in 2006. There also will be western-themed vendor booths located on the concourse during the show.
The NBHA supports the "Tough Enough to Wear Pink" program that supports finding a cure for breast cancer. The NBHA sells and donates a portion of pink logo merchandise proceeds for this cause. Last year, the NBHA was able to donate $20,000 for breast cancer research.

Jazz on the Lake continues with Fourplay
Jazz quartet Fourplay will perform this weekend at MonteLago Village at Lake Las Vegas as part of the Jazz on the Lake concert series.
The show starts at 7 p.m. Saturday. Blankets and chairs are welcome, but coolers are not.
Special guest will be The Manhattans, featuring Gerald Alston and Blue Lovett.
Fourplay members Bob James, Nathan East, Larry Carlton and Harvey Mason have been performing together for 15 years and recently released their 10th album, "X."
The album features a remake of the hit "My Love's Leavin' " with guest vocalist Michael McDonald.
VIP Reserved seats are $100, and general admission seats are $54.95.
