Super showman
Self-taught pianist dazzles crowds

As Wes Winters' fingers fly furiously over all 88 keys on the piano, it's hard to imagine that he never received formal training or learned to read sheet music.
Whether he's performing in his Liberace tribute show at the Liberace Museum, 1775 E. Tropicana Ave., tickling the keys at Carluccio's Tivoli Garden next to the museum or entertaining the high rollers and general public at Club Madrid inside Sunset Station, Winters retains an inner energy.

All-ages concerts return to Jillian's
University Theatre venue had zoning issues, owner says

VIEW STAFF WRITER
The radio spot running on local rock stations announcing the closing of the all-ages music venue University Theatre comically informs an eager, under-21-year-old music fan of the many venues where they might once have seen a rock show.
The Huntridge, the Castle, Sound Barrier and, now, it explains, the University Theatre, all have come and gone. But, this is not a tale of sorrow.
