Tim Schneider, an employee of Soaring Eagle Enterprises, will be honored as a 2006 Ruby Award winner at Inscape Publishing's MindLab Training Conference in San Diego, April 20.
Peggy Smith, president and chief executive officer of Hands Ink Advertising/PS Media, has been inducted into the Women's Chamber of Commerce of Nevada's Women's Hall of Fame.
Smith was one of five finalists for the chamber's 2006 Athena Award that recognizes women who achieve in their fields, contribute to their community and provide leadership for women.
Moms in Business Network has named Maureen Peckman as a finalist for its 2007 Create Your Dreams Award. The award honors women who balance a career with family.
Peckman founded Peckman Outdoor Media in 2003.
She and her husband, Philip, have a 10-month-old daughter named Schafer.
Peckman is executive director of the Council for a Better Nevada, and is on the board of Nevada Community Foundation, Aid for AIDS Nevada, the Las Vegas-Clark County Urban League and the Nevada Commission on Homeland Security.
