Library to host senior citizens law class

The Spring Valley Library is hosting a senior citizens' law assistance class at 2 p.m. on May 16. Speakers from the Senior Citizens Law Project will discuss the services and assistance they provide to Clark County residents ages 60 and older. The library is located at 4280 S. Jones Blvd.

Reunion planned for Clark and Western

Clark High School and Western High School reunion organizers welcome alumni from the Class of 1967 to their 40th high school class reunion on June 15 and 16. Both schools are looking for their 1967 classmates.

Vision Source to host trunk show

Vision Source Southern Highlands will host its grand opening event and trunk show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at 10660 Southern Highlands Parkway, Suite 101. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.

Meal prep stores celebrate anniversary

Las Vegas Dream Dinners is celebrating its three-year anniversary of its first location, and the one-year anniversary of its second from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on May 19.

The event will be held at 5447 S. Rainbow Blvd., and guests will have the opportunity to win a chest freezer, free meals and gift certificates to other local businesses. Each attendee who brings non-perishable food items will receive a ticket for the freezer raffle. The event is free and includes complimentary food and drinks.

Good Samaritan Church to host sale

Good Samaritan Lutheran Church is preparing for its sixth Mexico Mission trip by hosting a parking lot sale at 6 a.m. Friday in the church parking lot, 6500 W. Flamingo Road. Donations are being accepted until Friday.

The Spring Valley Library is hosting its Summer Reading Squad Orientation from 3 to 4 p.m. in the library's Story Room on May 19. Interested teenagers can learn how they can help the library with this year's summer reading programs and register to be a summer volunteer.
