From left, Michelle Burnett, docent supervisor at Bodies ... The Exhibition, talks to Sierra Vista High School sophomores Danielle Stewart, Helen Lee and Emmanuel Zafra about the preserved organs they are handling, April 26. The exhibit recognized Alcohol Awareness Month by teaching the students about the effects of alcoholism on the body. Zafra is examining a healthy liver, the organ hardest hit by the effects of alcoholism. The program for Sierra Vista students included a lecture by Southern Nevada Highway Patrol public information and education officer Kevin Honea. He also let students try on DUI goggles, which simulate the perspective of someone driving drunk. Photo by Sara Tramiel/VIEW
