Shadow Ridge High School volleyball teammates Josh Shea, right, and Zach Hexamer celebrate as they defeat Centennial High School 3-1. The victory marks the team's first state championship and the first state title in the history of the school. The Mustangs defeated Centennial three games to two in the final of the tournament at Silverado High School. Shea, the Shadow Ridge captain, had 56 assists and 12 digs in the championship final, co-captain Bower had 10 kills and four blocks, Mike Hansen recorded 11 kills, Mark Schuermann had 17 kills and 10 digs and Hexamer tallied 14 kills.
