Colt K.L. Bulot, was promoted sergeant in the Nevada Army National Guard on Jan. 1. Bulot is assigned to the 1st Squadron 221st Cavalry, Nevada ARNG. He is currently attached to the Wisconsin ARNG's 1st Battalion 121st Field Artillery stationed in Kuwait. His wife, Elizabeth, resides in Las Vegas.
Jullian A. Alcorn, 18, a 2006 graduate of Sierra Vista High School, graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, March 16.
Alcorn is part of the Wolf Pack, TRS 331, FLT 216. He is continuing his technical training as an aircraft mechanic apprentice at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas, and after completion of his apprenticeship on July 2, he will be deployed to Germany for two years.
Alcorn is the son of Karen Alcorn and grandson of Dené Alcorn, of Las Vegas.
