'A CHRISTMAS STORY' MARATHON TO FEATURE MAJOR AWARD

The District at Green Valley Ranch, 2240 Village Walk Drive, will host a holiday party with back-to-back screenings of "A Christmas Story" at 5 p.m. Friday.

The festivities also will include games contests. Patrons also can sign up to win the "Major Award" - a deluxe leg lamp like the one in the film.

CELEBRATE HANNUKAH AT VODKA LATKA ON THE STRIP

The United Jewish Community and Jewish Federation of Las Vegas will host the fifth annual Vodka Latka party, an upscale Hanukkah celebration, at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 6 at Tryst Nightclub inside Wynn Las Vegas.

PIANIST YEFIM BRONFMAN TO PERFORM AT UNLV

Grammy Award-winning pianist Yefim Bronfman will perform at 8 p.m. Nov. 27 at the UNLV Performing Arts Center, 4505 Maryland Parkway.
