GREENSPUN JUNIOR HIGH HOSTS GRANDPARENTS' DAY
Greenspun Junior High School, 140 N. Valle Verde Drive, held its third annual Grandparents' Day on Nov. 21.
The event recognized grandparents and allowed them to spend time with their grandchildren at school.
PROGRESS REPORTS TO GO OUT FRIDAY
In addition to the parent communication system available on school Web sites, progress reports/unsatisfactory notices will be distributed to students by the school on Friday. If your child is absent from school when they are distributed, contact the school to make arrangements to receive the notice.
Due to this change of regulation, unsatisfactory notices will not be mailed home this year.
POSTER CONTEST OPEN TO K-12 STUDENTS
The Nevada Chapter of the American Statistical Association is hosting the 2008 Nevada K-12 Statistics Poster Competition, open to all K-12 students.
First prize in each grade category is $72. Recognized posters are entered in the National ASA Statistics Poster Competition. Entry deadline is Feb. 15, 2008.
