MONTELAGO VILLAGE HAS FALL EVENTS THIS WEEKEND
The MonteLago Village Fall Fine Arts Festival will have over 50 fine artists displaying handcrafted artwork and live entertainment, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Also on Saturday at 30 Strada Di Villaggio will be the season's final New Vista Community Wine Walk, with over 20 different wines available in shops and restaurants from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $30 each or two for $50 and all of the proceeds will be going to New Vista Community.
CLARK COUNTY PARK NOW OPEN
Clark County dedicated Pebble Park at the corner of Pebble Road and Eastern Avenue on Sept. 20. The park is approximately 6.5 acres located around a flood control basin.

GROUP TO DISCUSS WOMEN'S HEALTH ISSUES

DEEPAK CHOPRA TO PARTICIPATE IN ONE BOOK HENDERSON

ANNUAL BOWL-A-THON IS SATURDAY
The Southern Nevada Domestic Violence Task Force's 10th annual Bowl-A-Thon will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Suncoast, 9090 Alta Drive.
More than 25,000 new cases of domestic violence were filed in Clark County in 2006. Nationally, 3.3 million children are exposed to domestic violence in their homes each year. The Southern Nevada Domestic Violence Task Force is a group of local domestic violence advocates working to provide support to victims and families of the crime.
The cost of the event is $35 per bowler and includes three games, shoe rental and a T-shirt.

Business mixer to be held Oct. 25
The Henderson Chamber of Commerce will host its annual business showcase and mixer, which highlights the products and services of several Henderson businesses, from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 25 at Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort, 101 Montelago Blvd. More than 30 businesses will be showcased at the event.
Registration is open to Henderson Chamber of Commerce members and businesses. The event itself is free and open to the public. More than 400 business professionals are expected to attend.
