Boulder City High School freshman Indiana Mead, 14, was recently invited to play for the U-14 National Soccer team at the Nike Friendlies camp in Carson, Calif.
Mead plays for the Neusport 92 Green team of Las Vegas and participated in the Nevada Olympic Development Program this past summer.

The city of Las Vegas Department of Leisure Services invites boys and girls ages 3-14 to participate in fall Saturday soccer leagues that begin Oct. 20 and continue for six weeks at the following locations: Brinley Community School, 6150 Smoke Ranch Road; Gibson Community School, 3990 W. Washington Ave.; Rivera Community Center, 2900 E. Stewart Ave.; and Robison Community School, 4794 Harris Ave.
