Brittany Maloney graduated in June from Las Vegas Academy of International Studies, Performing and Visual Arts with an honors diploma and a 3.83/4.65 GPA.

She has been active in her community through her involvement in the honor society and her church.

Maloney appeared in many theater productions, including playing lead role at the Nevada Conservatory Theater presentation of "Annie," and she also participated in UNLV Shakespeare productions.

Maloney is the daughter of John and Phyllis Maloney of Las Vegas. She is now attending New York University with a major in education.

Jennifer Lambert, 20, a 2004 graduate of Sierra Vista High School, opened a swimming instruction school, Bright Eyes Swim School, offering private swimming lessons for all ages at the customer's home.

She is a certified Red Cross water safety instructor and lifeguard.

As a high school senior, she took first place in the DECA state competition for Entrepreneurship Written Event.

Lambert, 20, is a senior at the University of San Francisco. She is the daughter of Linda Holloway of Las Vegas.

Larissa Drohobyczer, 22, has begun law studies at Saint Louis University School of Law, a Jesuit institution.

Her areas of interest include corporate and real estate law.

As an alumnus of Saint Louis University John Cook School of Business, she studied business administration with a concentration in marketing.

In January she chartered her own marketing/PR company called Laris Marketing Associates, Ltd.

Her other professional interests include commercial real estate.

In her free time, she volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada.

Drohobyczer, a 2002 graduate of Bishop Gorman High School, is the daughter of Igor and Martha Drohobyczer of Las Vegas.

Dustin Michael Oatley, 16, has earned his Eagle Scout Award from the Boy Scouts of America.

Oatley, a student at Eldorado High School, earned 57 merit badges, including all 15 of the required Eagle badges.

He completed three 50-mile backpacking treks and is a member of the brotherhood of the Order of the Arrow.

As a member of Crew 2238, he earned four Venturing bronzes, a shooting sports medal, the Gold Award, Silver Award, Ranger Award, Trust Award and Quest Award.

For his Eagle project, he helped plant 612 native plants at the Las Vegas Springs Preserve.

Oatley is an active member of Community Lutheran Church and plays guitar in the youth band.

He is the son of Don and Lisa Oatley of Las Vegas.

Rachel Ferebee, a 2007 graduate of Palo Verde High School, represented Nevada at the National Youth Science Camp from June 27 to July 23 in Monongahela National Forest, W. Va.

Ferebee joined 107 other top science students from across the nation and around the world for the science leadership program.

The camp integrates scientific programming with opportunities to explore music, art and the outdoors.

Activities include hiking, kayaking, caving, mountain biking and rock climbing.

Participants also met with many lawmakers at a U.S. Senate luncheon.

Ferebee plans to become a biomedical engineer.
