'BEEHIVE,' THE OFF BROADWAY MUSICAL, COMES TO HENDERSON
"Beehive," an off-Broadway musical, brings the music of The Supremes, Aretha Franklin, Connie Francis, Leslie Gore and Petula Clark back to the stage from 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Henderson Pavilion, 200 S. Green Valley Parkway.

SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK
The City of Henderson Department of Cultural Arts and Tourism is proud to present Shakespeare in the Park Oct. 5-7. The series is free to the public and will include live productions of "Twelfth Night" at 7 p.m. Oct. 5 at Lake Las Vegas; at 7 p.m. Oct. 6 and 4 p.m. Oct. 7 at Sonata Park.
Like many Shakespearean comedies, "Twelfth Night" centers on mistaken identity and gender-crossing disguise. As the plot unravels, comedic obstacles are overcome and the play concludes with true love.

'AMADEUS' CLOSES THIS WEEKEND AT UNLV
The Nevada Conservatory Theatre presents "Amadeus" tonight at UNLV's Judy Bayley Theatre.
The show starts at 8 p.m. Performances also are scheduled this week at 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Dinner and a movie takes on a new meaning as The Platinum Hotel and Spa, 211 E. Flamingo, hosts Dine & Unwind, an event that pairs food and film and takes place on the fifth-floor pool deck.
The Friday festivities begin at approximately 7:30 p.m. with a showing of "Viva Las Vegas" and "Prince Live from Vegas." Saturday's show will feature the film "We Are Marshall" and recorded music from the Dave Matthews Band.
