A LIFE WELL-LIVED: Celebrating Segerblom
Friends, family and community roll out presents for resident's 90th birthday

VIEW STAFF WRITER

Two pillows resting on Gene Segerblom's living room couch read, "I'd give up chocolate, but I'm no quitter" and "I will serve no wine before it's time. Hey, it's time."

Now, after celebrating 90 years of life, the 68-year resident of Boulder City remains active in the community proving she's not about to quit or even give in and say "it's time."

Boulder City High School varsity cheerleading team takes second-place in State Championships

The Boulder City High School cheerleaders made the long road trip to Reno with returning coach Charlene Reid on Feb. 22-23, and came home with some great hardware for their efforts to display in the gymnasium complex.

"The girls were marvelous at the state championships," Reid said. "They performed well, behaved well and made Boulder City proud."
