ENTERTAINERS TO PERFORM AT FUNDRAISING CONCERT

The 19th annual CSN/Joe Williams Music Scholarship Fundraiser Concert will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the main showroom of the South Point Hotel.

The annual gala raises money for the Joe Williams Music Scholarship Fund, which helps music students at the College of Southern Nevada.

This year's concert will feature singing impressionist Bob Anderson, blues singer Marlena Shaw, jazz singer Freddie Eckstine, jazz duo The Cunninghams and composer Artie Butler.

Tickets are $40 and may be reserved by calling 797-8055.

CATCH LIVE COMEDY AT THE CANYON CLUB

The Canyon Club at the Four Queens Casino, 202 Fremont St., will feature the comedy of local talents Nick Thune, Brandon Muller and host Bryan Bruner at 9 p.m. April 12 as part of "Fear and Laughing in Las Vegas.

LOCAL SINGER/SONGWRITER DIVA NIGHT AT THE ARUBA HOTEL

Local artist Mischievia will perform at 11 p.m. April 14 inside the Thunderbird Lounge at the Aruba Hotel, 1215 S. Las Vegas Blvd., as part of the lounge's Resodence Local Singer/Songwriter Diva Night. The showcase features local artists performing original music.

TINO TURTLE TRAVEL SERIES BEGINS APRIL 12 AT LIED MUSEUM

Lied Discovery Children's Museum, 833 Las Vegas Blvd. North, will present an educational children's travel series, Tino Turtle Travels, featuring Tino the Turtle, beginning at 9 a.m. April 12.

Children will be whisked off to far-off places with Tino as he globe-hops, seeking adventure and information.
