Hall of Fame Fencer

Seventy-year-old Maitre Yves Auriol, a three-time Olympics coach, teaches fencing at the Fencing Academy of Nevada in the Las Vegas Sports Park, 1400 N. Rampart Blvd. near Summerlin. Auriol has spent his life in the sport, including 17 years as head coach at the University of Notre Dame. He was a coach for the U.S. Olympics team from 1980 to 1992.
