MUSEUM EXHIBIT FEATURES AMERICAN INDIAN BASKETRY
The Clark County Heritage Museum, 1830 S. Boulder Highway, will host Beauty in Necessity: American Indian Baskets of the West, an exhibit that displays the art of basketry, through May 11.
The exhibit highlights baskets, old and new, from the Southwest and Western United States and shows a diversity of materials and designs.
The museum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is $1.50 for adults and $1 for children and seniors.

The fifth Spring Arts Festival will be held at 10 a.m. April 19-20 at MonteLago Village at Lake Las Vegas, 30 Strada Di Villaggio.
The event will feature artisans displaying their original works, converting the village into a weekend art walk.
