LIBRARY'S CLASSIC FILM SERIES TO SHOW 'SUNSET BOULEVARD'

Bringing Hollywood to North Las Vegas, Aliante Library kicks off its Classic Film Series with the 1950 classic, "Sunset Boulevard." The film series is sponsored by the Las Vegas Film Society. Film presentations are followed by a short discussion. Screening begins at 3 p.m. May 3 at Aliante Library, 2400 W. Deer Springs Way. For more information, call 839-2980.

JAZZ IN THE PARK TO KICK OFF

The Jazz in the Park concert series will kick off with Spyro Gyra at 8 p.m. April 26 at the Clark County Amphitheater, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway. People are welcome to bring picnic baskets, blankets and low-back chairs. For more information, call 455-8200.

JILLIAN'S LAS VEGAS ANNOUNCES BAND LINEUP FOR THIS WEEKEND

Jillian's Las Vegas, 450 Fremont St., will host bands Rule of Thumb, diM, Broken End, Vannacutt and Edifice of Carrion at 7 p.m. Thursday;

7th Son, Grade 8, The Stript, Lydia Vance, Vall-halla will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday; and Evergreen Terrace, Molotov Solution, Anthems, Suffer the Loss and Captivity will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday.

NEW FREMONT STREET SHOW, 'A TRIBUTE TO QUEEN,' PREMIERES

The Fremont Street Experience will premiere a new Viva Vision show, "A Tribute to Queen," at 8 p.m. Thursday.

In honor of Queen and the new show, the tribute band Queen Nation will perform at 8 p.m. Thursday through April 22 on the 3rd Street stage.

Admission is free.

CLARK COUNTY CHILDREN'S CHOIR TO PERFORM

The Clark County Children's Choir will host a spring concert at 7 p.m. May 1 at the Spring Valley High School Theater, 3750 S. Buffalo Drive. Admission is free. For more information, visit www.clarkcountychildrens choir.org or call 354-3655.
