SPRINGING FORWARD: Geared up to set out
Group organizes bicycle rides along local routes for all abilities

With spring comes the opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy nature.

Bicyclists enjoy their sport all year round, and members of the Las Vegas Valley Bicycle Club seems to know some of the best routes. The club was founded in 1989 and has more than 140 members.

Camp raises funds for kids in foster care
Woman teams up with tennis pros for event

Glendolyn Alex has two professions. She's a massage therapist who travels to exotic places like Monte Carlo with top tennis stars. She's also a social worker who sees Las Vegas children on the other side of the socioeconomic spectrum.

So, Alex masterminded Camp Bryan -- a high-end two-day tennis clinic -- to help support young people in foster care.
