REGAL ESTATES: A tale of two cities
Residents say their historic neighborhood is becoming an industrial quarter

North Las Vegas has been recorded as one of the 10 fastest growing large cities in the nation, with the 2007 U.S. Census reporting more than 200,000 residents.

Growth and planning set out by the city's 2008 Community Report have inaugurated the opening of a state-of-the-art skateboard park, groundbreaking for the new Alexander Library and Park, and plans for a new city hall.

Poly Nation a breeding ground for future stars

A Las Vegas basketball club winning a national tournament might seem like big news, but for Poly Nation, last month's championship victory in the 15-and-under division of the Easter Classic event in Las Vegas came as no surprise.

Poly Nation, which runs teams in the age groups of fourth, sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth grade, is recognized as one of the strongest youth basketball programs in the city and a breeding ground for future high school and college hoops standouts.
