'STAR-SPANGLED GIRL': Broadway dreams
Henderson girl known for singing national anthem has roles in two shows

Driving back and forth from Broadway every week may be too much for Henderson resident Ellie Smith. So the 11-year-old is performing at the Tuacahn Amphitheatre and Center for the Arts in Ivins, Utah, which is only a few hours away.

Ellie is Little Cosette in "Les Miserables" and one of the Von Trapp children in "The Sound of Music."
