Tourney to benefit Adiyl Mir Scholarship fund

The Epicurean Charitable Foundation Las Vegas and Rio Secco Golf Club pair up to host the inaugural Adiyl Mir Memorial Golf Tournament, Aug. 16.

The event will seek to raise money for the Adiyl Mir Scholarship Foundation, which was established in the name of the 17-year-old Las Vegas valley student who died in January, following a car accident in Texas.

Mir was the son of Saddiq Mir, a board member and vice president of food and beverage at the Golden Nugget.

Tournament fees are $125 per person; $500 per foursome. The event will begin at 7:30 a.m. and will include lunch, awards and a raffle.

All proceeds will benefit the scholarship fund.
