* Lace up your sneakers -- registration is under way for the Doolittle Community Center's adult men's and church basketball leagues. Teams must have players ages 18 and older to sign up. * A reception is set for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday for an Opportunity Village Art Enrichment Program display titled Through Our Eyes, up from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday through Oct. 1 at the Lloyd D. George-U.S. Federal Courthouse, 333 Las Vegas Blvd. South. The reception will take place in the courthouse lobby.
