If you haven't yet experienced a meal in a Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group establishment, from now until the end of August is the time, as Puck's six Las Vegas restaurants will feature specially priced menus for locals.
In the main dining room at Spago in The Forum Shops at Caesars, a five-course, California-style tasting menu will be changed daily and offered for $65 per person. Hours are from 5:30 to 10 p.m. daily. At Chinois, also in The Forum Shops at Caesars, a three-course tasting menu will be $29 per person, offering baby beet salad or Puck's Famous Chinois Chicken Salad, "Hong Kong-style" Atlantic salmon with water chestnuts and bok choy, and choice of Peanut Crunchy Chocolate Mousse or Fifteen Layer Red Velvet Cake for dessert. Dinner is served from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 5 to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
At Postrio inside the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian, a tasting menu for two is $45 at the patio café. The menu includes olives and bruschetta, Caesar salad, pizza Margherita, tiramisu and a carafe of wine. Hours for the café are from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Trattoria del Lupo at Mandalay Bay will have a pre-fixe Italian menu for $40 per person, with entrée choices including chicken scaloppini with mushrooms and marsala wine, fresh fish of the day, Wolfgang's Lasagna with beef, veal, ricotta and Béchamel, and homemade pasta of the day. Dessert choices are Tiramisu del Lupo or selections of house-made gelatos and sorbets. Hours are from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 5 to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill at MGM Grand has created a Farmers Market Menu for $40 per person, with seared sea scallops with savoy cabbage and red wine porcini reduction, and ricotta cheesecake with fresh berries for dessert.
