LIVING HISTORY: Preserving the park
Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs finds spot on city's historic register

On. Jan. 9, the Las Vegas City Council officially added Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs to the city's historic register, designating the northwest park and preservation area as a site reflective of the city's cultural past.

But the designation means even more to the ongoing development and revitalization of the park, which was transferred to city ownership in July after being operated as Floyd Lamb State Park since 1977.
