ART EXHIBIT TO CLOSE FRIDAY AT WINCHESTER CULTURAL CENTER

Withering Heights, an exhibition of new paintings by Las Vegas native Elizabeth Blau, is on display at the Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive, until Friday.

The series features paintings of glacial ice, created as an examination of disappearance.

The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.

BALLET THEATRE PRESENTS 'STRAVINSKY TO SINATRA'

Nevada Ballet Theatre will perform "From Stravinsky to Sinatra" at 8 p.m. Friday and at 2 p.m. Saturday at Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall on the UNLV campus.

Sway, swing and swoon to three ballets, including Ol' Blue Eyes crooning to Twyla Tharp's choreography in "Nine Sinatra Songs."

THE DISTRICT TO HOST CADILLAC CAR SHOW SUNDAY

The District at Green Valley Ranch will host the third annual Cadillac Through the Years Auto Show at 10 a.m. Sunday .

The show will feature more than 70 vintage cars, including Cadillac and LaSalle automobiles, and celebrate the role the brand has played in American pop culture.

Owners of vintage Cadillac or LaSalle autos, who are not members of the Cadillac & LaSalle Club of Las Vegas, also are invited to participate in the show. Vehicle registration forms are available at www.lasvegasclc.org.

Admission is free.
