LOVE AT THE MONORAIL

* The Las Vegas Monorail will host a celebration on Saturday, including free rides for locals with valid ID from 1 to 4 p.m. and speed dating at the Las Vegas Convention Center Station at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. in honor of Valentine's Day. BALLET AT UNLV

BEST OF MARIACHI

* The Clark County School District Honor Mariachi Concert will be held at Clark County Library's main theater, 7 p.m. Friday. See the best students from the district's award-winning Mariachi program. Started in 2002, the program now has 15 full-time, licensed Mariachi educators and over 2,000 students. 1401 E. Flamingo Road. 507-3400.

BLOOD DRIVE

* United Blood Services will host a blood drive at Clark County Library, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. To donate, must have photo ID, be 18 or older, weigh at least 110 pounds and not be on antibiotics. 1401 E. Flamingo Road. 562-2166.
