A NEW ERA: Ready for retirement
After 20 years, fire chief says he's ready to surf and spoil his 11 grandkids

After 20 years with the Henderson Fire Department and 61/2 years as fire chief, Jim Cavalieri is leaving the city for a more relaxed life.

"I always said I wanted to retire when I was young enough and healthy enough to enjoy it," Cavalieri said.
