BRITISH PIPE AND DRUM CORPS TO PERFORM AT UNLV

UNLV's Performing Arts Center welcomes Great Britian's Band of the Coldstream Guards and the Pipes, Drums and Dancers of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway.

'THE GHOST OF YOU AND I' PLAYING AT BLACK BOX THEATRE

The Nevada Conservatory Theatre will present "The Ghost of You and I," Oscar F. Limon's tale of love and family loyalties, this weekend at UNLV's Black Box Theatre, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway.

Shows are at 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $12 and are available by calling 895-2787.

THE DA VINCI EXPERIENCE CLOSES THIS WEEKEND

The Da Vinci Experience, an exhibit with more than 60 working replicas of Leonardo da Vinci's inventions, will close on Sunday at the Henderson Convention Center, 200 S. Water St. The exhibit runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

As part of the final weekend of the exhibit, cast members of Theatre in the Valley will entertain the crowd with a free show carnival. They also will have a life-sized trebuchet, and for a small donation, the public will be invited to fire the catapult at a selected target. The carnival is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets for The Da Vinci Experience are $8.50 for Nevada residents with ID. Children age 6 and younger get in for free.
