HOST FAMILIES NEEDED
The ASSE International Student Exchange Program is seeking host families for international high school students, ages 15-18, who will attend high school in the valley for the upcoming semester.
These young men and women are exclusively selected for the program and are conversant in English, personable, bright and curious to learn about this country through living as part of an American family and sharing their own culture and language with their newly adopted family.
Students will arrive from their home country shortly before the beginning of the semester and return at the end of the semester. Each student is fully insured, brings his or her own money and expects to help with household chores.
Families may select the student of their choice from a long list of applications, family photos and biographical essays.

RTC ASKS FOR PUBLIC OPINION
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) is conducting a study of Desert Inn Road and Rainbow Boulevard in an effort to identify concepts for improving mobility and decreasing congestion.
Comments will be taken until Friday. Feedback will be used to refine recommendations for corridor improvements, should funding become available.
