special to viewHelen Joy?s Young Entertainers perform for tourists inside the White House. Initially scheduled to entertain for one hour during the Dec. 8 gig, the group was asked to do an extra 15 minutes. "This is what our industry is in Las Vegas ?? entertainment. We live it, breathe it, see it, and we know what it takes to put on a good show," said Tony Sacca, head of the Youth Foundation for the Performing Arts, which supports Young Entertainers through scholarships. The day before the White House performance, the Young Entertainers gave a private performance for U.S. Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., and his staff. Afterward, they took a tour of the Capitol. The age range of the 16 members was 5 to 16 years old.
